Modern societies have invested heavily to place millions of police officers on the streets to catch traditional criminals. Should we shift our priorities from street cops to cyberworld cops? If you were the chief of the State College Police Department and you were given funds to hire one new officer this year. Would you use those funds to hire a traditional police officer or would you use them to hire a cyber-cop? Or, do you believe that fighting cybercrime is better left to the federal government? In short, how should we attack such a crime?
