Should we continue to support the funding of primary care physician (Internists, Family Physicians, Psychiatrists, Geriatricians) education or shift resources to "associated healthcare professionals" (PAs, DNPs, Psychologists) for the provision and management of our healthcare?
Can primary care providers adequately manage those conditions usually referred to physician specialists (cardiologists, immunologists, dermatologist, neurologist, endocrinologists, etc.)?
How can the 5-10 year residency programs of the specialists be continually afforded?
