Homework: Consumer Advertisement
After watching the video, answer the following questions: What did you learn that was new to you? How did this video make you feel? Do you think it is okay for the movie industry to market to children? You also need to understand the television/film industry's point of view. Please do some research to discover their arguments for marketing to children? Do they have the right to openly market to children? Should there be more FCC regulation of marketing to children? What role do parents have? As a parent, did you know this type of marketing was going on? Do you think parents can make informed decisions about what their children are watching?
