While the dependence on coal has diminished in the United States, there are increasing needs for coal in China, India, and other foreign countries. This could maintain employment for U.S. coal workers. However, the continued manufacture of coal in the United States is not without cost. The EPA continues to sound the alarm regarding the harm to the environment caused by the continued rising of greenhouse gas emissions. Please respond to the following:
