Based upon the assigned readings and presentations. The written assignments must include at least one reference(s) in addition to the course textbooks and the Bible. • From the perspective of interactionalist theory, does the professional athlete have a responsibility to his employer to be available via social media - and if so, to what extent?
• If you were responsible for a community budget for sport, what proportions of funding would you allocate to high performance and participation sport. Justify your answer and give specific examples?
• Does commercializing in sport promote your values? Why or why not?
• Should financial support to sports programs be pegged to the support other educational programs receive within the institution?
• Would sports survive without the media?
• Should there be a limit on coaches' salaries at universities? Should the decision be left to each school? Justify your answer?
