Read the following paper: "Ownership of Human Tissue and the Law" by Loane Skene. Nature Reviews Genetics, Volume 3, Issue 2, February 2002, 145-148, which you can access through your University's electronic journals.
For this assignment your grade shall be determined on the basis of your contributions to the Discussion Board allocated to this topic which you will find as a separate Discussion Board called "DNA Ownership". Please post your thoughts, opinions and questions on the two questions below on the board dedicated to this subject and comment on messages posted by your colleagues. If you would like to add further postings on the subject of this discussion as the semester progresses, please do so.
