The way things are today, how well one's life goes has a good deal to do with where one happens to have been born. If you had been born in a very poor country, your life would probably not being going as well as it is now; since you were lucky enough to be born in (or your parents moved you to) a relatively rich country. What do cosmopolitans think about the role that luck plays in how well our lives go?
