Should castration be an option? Students will research using the Internet to find information about David Wayne Jones, who in 2004 was castrated after sexually assaulting a boy. Students will write an opinion paper that addresses the following questions.
- Should castration be available as a sentencing option to judges, why or why not?
- Should voluntary castration result in reduced sentences for violent sex offenders? Why or why not?
