The purpose of this assignment is to draw on your further understanding of the expression of ethical values in the corporate setting as well as the tension created between the needs of the individual shareholder and the survival of the corporation in a competitive marketplace– particularly as viewed and acted upon by the managers of business. As you write, contribute your own thought on how our new insights on ethics limit or enhance competition, marketing, sales and advertising, and the obligations of fidelity to the stock holder and the community-at-large.
