Discussion Post: Counseling Values
a) The best counselors are aware of their personal values and how these impact their work with clients. Discuss some of the values you hold that you think will help you be a good counselor. Also discuss some values you hold that might be problematic in your role as counselor.
b) YouTube Video: "Sigmund Freud Documentary"
After watching the documentary about Freud, share your thoughts about Freud's view of human nature. What parts of his theory do you agree with? What parts do you perhaps find problematic?
The response should include a reference list. Using one-inch margins, Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
