Senge 2006 p 79 explains the two most basic loops used

Discussion

Senge (2006, p. 79) explains the two most basic loops used system diagrams. These are reinforcing and balancing loops. From your experience provide an example of a reinforcing and a balancing loop. (There are several examples given in 5th D to help you get started.) Further, Senge proposes that many events that may be seen as linear with a cause and effective relationship may actually be better understood as a loop. Senge calls us to shift from linear thinking. How might systems thinking change your perception of a situation?
