Self-monitoring

Self-Management Project: Part 1 - Self-monitoring Proposal

Format

Identify and provide a behavioral/operational definition of the behavior you want to change.

State the goal of your self-management project. Specify the behavior change you want to achieve as a result of the project. You must identify the specific level of the behavior you want to reach when the project is complete.

Describe the procedure you will use to record your behavior. State what you will do to record each instance of the behavior immediately after it occurs (where and when you will record, what dimension you will record, and how you will record).

Include the data sheet or a description of the recording device you will use if you are not using a data sheet.

Describe your graph - what will be on the x axis and what will be on the y axis

Identify any problems you think you might have in recording your behavior. State how you will manage these problems. It is not good enough to state "I won't have any problems."
