1. Select a policy within the criminal justice system that you will use as the foundation for your paper in this module..
Begin your paper by researching a policy or procedure from the criminal justice system. It may be from the federal, state, or local level. It may even be from your own city or department in which you work.
Submit a 1-page (250-word) document about your chosen policy, stating why this is important to you. This will be the foundation for the paper you will be writing.
Important: You must submit a one page paper or more on your topic that has a title page, a separate reference page, and contains cited and referenced facts about your topic.

Keep to third person in academic papers - do not use "I" or "we".
2. Include a annotated bibliography on the topic you chose above with seven (7) at least valid sources that you will use as the basis for your paper.
