Final Project: CEOs
Choose one partner to do this assignment with
1. Select a company with more than $500,000 in sales in 2016 that has been in business since 1995
2. Provide a short history of the company
3. For every CEO since 1992 (later if not in business then):
- create a short biography
- from available information about each CEO, try to determine their management style (positional vs. emotional, transactional vs. transformational VCI strengths & weaknesses)
- include major events in the business
- chart the revenue or profits or market share for the company on a year-by-year basis
- if possible, find commentary linking company performance to the CEO
4. Summarize your analysis of the impact of the leaders on the fortunes of the company
Create a business report and accompanying presentation as though you were a consultant hired by a competitor to analyze the rival CEO's impact on their business.
Use the presentation and business report style guides in Schoology as models for your work:
Presentation: - title slide

- CEO #2 slide: bio; impact on company; commentary
- CEO #3 slide: bio; impact on company; commentary
- summary slide
Report: - title page
- executive summary (see Schoology)
- introduction (company history)
- analysis (of the CEOs)
- conclusions & recommendations
The presentation should be no longer than 15 minutes!!! (You will be cut off at that time)
Send me a soft copy of both the presentation (typically as a PowerPoint document) and the report (as a Word document) - indicate which sections were researched and written by each person.
