Description of Assessment Task:

For this assignment you will identify and understand legacy and present technologies.

Core items: all of below should be included.
- Circuit switch network (Include PSTN, Intelligent Networks/services)
- Packet switch network
- IP network (Carrier size, e.g. Telstra, NBN Co networks)
- Enterprise Network: Small and Medium Size (SME)
- Service Routers/Switches including Access, Aggregation (Distribution), Core networks and Customer routers (CE: Customer Edge routers). Consider redundancy routes.

Pick 5 items in the list below:
- Frame relay
- ATM
- ISDN
- DHCP server
- DNS server
- LAN
- WAN
- IMS
- NGN (next generation network)
- PSTN
- Mobile networks (including 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G-5th generation)
- NBN Co products, e.g. FTTx, HFC, Satellite for Internet etc.

Remember, you should make efforts on
(1) Searching internet (e.g. Google) and service providers and manufacturers websites
(2) Understanding their technologies and products.

Your task is to complete and write a report including the following:
