Score higher upon measures of self-esteem


Studies have shown that males tend to score higher upon measures of self-esteem. A study found a sample of 10 males to score M = 39.00, SS = 60.20 whereas the sample of 10 females scored 35.40, SS = 69.40. It is hypothesized that males score significantly higher on the measure of selfesteem. Test at alpha = .05, provide 95% confidence intervals.
