The scientific discoveries and technology advancements that have happened in our society have definitely improved our society. In the medical field there have been many advancements when it comes to cures for different diseases. There hasn't been a cure found for cancer yet, but scientist are so close to finding something a cure because of all the research they are able to build off from. When it comes to technological advances there have been many, especially with the discovery of the internet. The internet is helpful especially for students in school because they are able to find information for their classes instead of spending hours upon hours in the library. Although there are many goods in both scientific discoveries and technological advances there are also negative effects. Yes, the internet has been a huge help to everyone but there are many people who are addicted to their electronics and don't have little to hardly any human interaction. There are both positive and negative effects of each but I do think that for the most part they both help improve our understanding to the world around us and ourselves.
