Most of parallel processing functions from science and other academic subjects, are mainly have based upon arithmetical simulations where huge quantities of data must be processed, in order to generate or test a model. Examples of such applications include:

In the region of large computer animation, though a large amount of the work can be done on high order workstations, yet the input will frequently involve the application of parallel processing.
