Schools and police departments in many cities now work together to enhance safety in their halls. Please research on your own (online or otherwise) the topic of schools and police working together for school safety. It can be about bullying, drugs, gangs, other violence, etc... Briefly describe that program to us all in your posting. Your description should include if possible when the program started, where it is, and what the main components of that program are. Then, indicate in your posting if that particular program has shown itself to be effective in increasing school safety. Please, as always, cite your source(s) appropriately. The DARE program cannot be used.
