Scholars and practitioners have been studying and researching ethical theories and issues affecting the organizational development and culture for many decades. From leadership decision making to the employees working condition improvement have been a critical challenge for the managers. Northouse ( 2016) revealed that ethical theory provides a system of rules or principles that guide us in making decisions about what is right or wrong and good or bad in a particular situation.

From this case study reading, one might assess that ethical dilemma in this situation might be the lawyer 's action to dissuade the management team from hiring outside authors without analyzing the ramification that may affect the organization safety in general. Thus, the company's attorney focused on the lawsuit that might be brought the Perfect Plastics Incorporated (PPI) again without emphasizing on the guaranteeing safe working condition for the employees which was the main concern for the management to bring the outside auditors to inspect the facility periodically. Hoover & peppe r(2015) expressed that the ethic of care was identified with language catering to different parties' views, when an emotional appeal to relationships and the human condition was evident, including care for others. Thereby, the approach of the management was the best approach by emphasizing long-term organizational safety and employees 'welfare. Northouse (2016) argued that to be an effective leader, one needs to respond with action that is required of the situation.

The best solution for the ethical issue in (PPI) company might require a steady and cautious leadership approach which might help to avoid the illegal and dangerous safety condition for the company development and employees' welfare. Northouse(2016) reviewed that ethics play a central role in the leadership process. Because leadership involves influence and leaders often have more power than followers, they have enormous ethical responsibility for how they affect others people. Moreover, applying teleological approach (utilitarianism) might be right framework to align in this situation which might help the company managers to act ethically. Thereby, allowing outside auditors to inspect the company periodically by management team might guide the leaders to plan and have a better management system in place to deal with future safety issues. Northouse(2016) pointed out that the consequences of an individual's actions determine the goodness or badness of a particular behavior. Thus, to be an effective leader, one need to have a better understanding about organizational ethic and culture. Trevino (1998) revealed that understanding of ethic decision making inorganizations is important of organizational science.
