During the visit, implement your individualized plan for success. Remember, to be an authentic observation, you must document observations as action occurs (not following the observation).
This assignment requires you to create detailed observation notes on a documenting format of your choice. Methods of documenting observations could include anecdotal notes, checklists, running record, pictures (previous permission of school/center/parent required), as well as a combination of two of more methods. You may not see evidence of the previously observed behavior issues/incidents you planned to guide. However, your strategies to promote this child's success can be implemented during typical play and to support routine activities such transitions.
This is an early childhood class, so please do this on a 1-2 year old.
