Hello and welcome to Dairy Queen. My name is Kenneth and I am your General Manager. I would like to orientate you on the history of company and it's policies. DQ is a private own franchise and wasestablished in 2004. This establishment has one owner, no corporate headquarters, and isn't connected with other DQ's. Every employee has a working relationship with the owner. Our objective is to provide quality customer service in a fast but effiecnt way. Our main product is soft served ice-cream. Our
other menu items include hotdogs, hamburgers, salad, chicken and a variety of drinks.

As an employee you are to adhere to our policies which are in place to ensure your safety and to maintain a friend work environment. These policies are as followed:

? Employees must wear non-slip shoes. These prevents slips and falls

? Employees are require to be in proper uniform while on the clock. This uniform consit of balk kakis and DQ shirt which will be provided.We are a team and therefore should dress as such

? To be an effective business attendance is a priority. Every employee must adhere to the attendance policy.

? Time off should be submitted attest 2 weeksin advance

? No-calls/No-shows are unacceptable and are grounds for termination.

? Cellphone use is not permitted during work hours.

? Each employee is accepted to respect other employees and custormers.

As a part of the DQ team we consider each other family and I personally would like to welcome you to the family. I have an open door policy. If you have any questions , comments or concern please let me know.
