Discussion: Friends with different worldviews, is it possible?
This is an interesting thought. The way you answer this question will hinge on the word "with" and whether it should/can be replaced with the word "to."
It is possible to be a good friend "to" almost anyone. Being a good friend has certain qualities like selflessness, patience, speaking the truth with love, putting the other persons interests before your own, caring about the person etc. I can be a friend to my spouse, my kids, my boss, my coworkers, the people in my church, the cashier person at the supermarket.
