Roger sperry won the nobel prize

Roger Sperry won the Nobel Prize for his work on neurons pathfinding. One of his experiments was to remove the eye from a frog, rotate it 180 degrees, and put the eye back into the frog. He then allowed the frog to live in the dark for 1 month. When he again exposed the frog to light he presented it with a fly to eat. He held the fly to the left of the frog, but the frog jumped to the right. Explain how this experiment and others like it earned the Nobel Prize for Sperry.
