The Rhodesian Unilateral Declaration of Independence from Great Britain on November 11th 1965 was a highly controversial event that inspires strong sentiments from numerous perspectives. Unfortunately, the facts are frequently not presented in a balanced and unbiased fashion. As an outcome students of Rhodesian or Zimbabwean history often do not completely understand the arguments both for and against UDI. This solution gives an explanation of both positions in an unbiased analysis.
