At the bottom of this article is a quotation attributed to Admiral Hyman Rickover that reads:
"Good ideas are not adopted automatically. They must be driven into practice with courageous impatience. Once implemented they can be easily overturned or subverted through apathy or lack of follow-up, so a continuous effort is required."
In your opinion, how do you see Admiral Rickover's quote becoming part of your life as a public school administrator as you work with the diverse population in your community?
