Discussion Post: Managing the Execution of Strategy
Review the three approaches towards strengthening capabilities discussed in Chapter 10 (beginning on page 300). Then, choose one of the approaches outlined and discuss what steps management would need to take to create a core competency in that area that would constitute or contribute substantially to an organization's competitive advantage. How might these be incorporated into an organization's strategic plan?
