3. In our textbook, p. 547, read the Short Case 12.1 - West Meets East Over the Negotiation Table: Contrasts and Causes. Write an analysis on the several meetings (Singapore, and Hanoi) that North Korea's Kim and USA's Trump recently held. Perhaps find a video and watch the body language - explain the different approaches to the negotiations.
4. Machines seem to be getting smarter! Contemplate the effect on the Cashiers job outlook. What is the impact on demographics, urban vs rural population, and consumer attitudes with the influx of more smart machines into our daily lives? 5. Amazon, Facebook, Disney are huge global players. Should these companies be forced to break into smaller companies? As an example - The Bell Operating System of ATT & T was forced to split into the Baby Bells in 1982. Do the research/analysis for supportive content for your answer.
6. Currently the US and China are in what some are calling Trade Wars. Research and write about the impact of the US China Trade Talks - Tariffs or NO Tariffs? Explain the terms and concepts that are involved.
7. Venezuela is in a real political Crisis - do the research and write how this political situation may impact Oil Prices.
8. Bans on plastic bags are spreading throughout the retail industry. Are they truly effective on the war on plastic waste?
9. The headline reads "Global firms to join US in Huawei blacklisting" - do some research on the Chinese telecom giant Huawei and explain the dilemma of its supposed threat to various firms and countries that ARE doing business with this company.
