Assignment:
First, review 50 Eye Opening Images of Environmental Pollution. Really look at all the pictures posted on it. Then, choose 1 or 2 that really had the most significant emotional impact on you, discuss why, and what those pictures represent to you. Next, based on your pictures, research the type of pollutant or pollution that is represented in them (ex. oil, plastic, deadly acid rain). Define it, educate us on it chemically, what causes it, and where is it the most prevalent today?
Really use this discussion as a sounding board for calling attention to an environmental issue that needs a voice and brainstorm ways to solve your peer's issue when you respond to them. Feel free to share the names and websites of any organizations you find that are part of your solution.
