(Mine is the East Orange School District located in East Orange, New Jersey). Also, use the web pages you visited this week on cultural awareness around the world: Review the "Cultural Etiquette Around the World" website and read the articles, "Creating Culturally Responsive, Inclusive Classrooms" and "Empathy and Cultural Competence : Reflections from Teachers of Culturally Diverse Children" to investigate how to make your current or future classroom more culturally sensitive to specific populations in your district's elementary schools.
