Asasignment: Characteristics of Intelligent Behavior
Review the characteristics of intelligent behavior discussed in Ch. 3 of Secondary School Teaching.
Select and complete one of the following assignment options:
Option 1: Intelligent Behavior Presentation
Create a 6- to 8-slide presentation that describes five to seven characteristics of intelligent behavior. Note: Visit the Technology Resource Library and select Presentation Tools from the Web Tools drop down menu to find helpful presentation resources.
Include an example of each characteristic and how you would support that characteristic in your classroom.
Submit your assignment to the Assignment Files tab.
Option 2: Intelligent Behavior Scenarios
Identify five to seven characteristics of intelligent behavior.
Create a classroom scenario for each characteristic and include the following:
• A description of how your scenario models the characteristics
• A description of observable behaviors to look for in students
• An explanation of how you could support the characteristics
