2. Specifically check the following websites for sources of funding for three activities listed and briefly summarize the purpose, what individuals or organizations are eligible to apply, if there is a department/city match on the grant, and what items the grant will fund. While multiple websites may have the same information, the goal is for you to visit different websites and become familiar with the search engines available to locate grant information

2. Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) - first responders, and career and volunteer firefighters
- Review the Assistance to Firefighters Grants website. What organizations can apply for the various AFG grants? Check online to see if your fire department has received AFG grants
3. The Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance - Antiterrorism - Domestic Training Program
3. Contact your city or jurisdiction to determine what grants they have applied for and the result. What are some of the challenges a local agency must meet to apply for or obtain government funding?
