1. Read the book "Born a Crime by Trevor Noah". This is an easy to read, interesting book by Trevor Noah, host of Comedy Central's Daily Show. Noah has a real take to tell and he tells it well. It is a frank and telling portrait of the life in South Africa in the 1980s and 1990s of a mixed-race children whose very birth was against the law! It is alarming, sad, and funny.
2. Write a two-page essay based on Trevor's comments on the apartheid system.
