Have you ever thought about what it is like to work for the FBI, the Department of State, or a nonprofit organization? More local examples may include public offices located in your hometown (for example, police or fire departments, or other city organizations). If you haven't already done so, complete the following: Review the PAD599 course guide and examine the suggested agency and organization websites listed in the Week 2 assignment. The lists of websites include most federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as the most popular nonprofit agencies. If you select an agency not listed, ensure that can address each of the assignment expectations throughout the course. If you are already a public servant or work for a nonprofit organization, you may use your own organization. After completing the discussion preparation, discuss what public agency or organization you have selected and include a few factors that generated your curiosity.
