Under "what is a literature review, it says I should be generating a "dialogue" but i do not understand this..
· Basic content: introduction, review of the literature, presentation of the case, analysis of case dynamics and political outcome, policy recommendations, conclusion
· Case analysis: Consider discussing analytical issues relevant to international organizations, such as principal/agent dynamics, mission creep, compliance and enforcement of decisions taken, power dynamics, legitimization issues, norm life cycle, organization pathologies (or others that you judge to be most relevant to the case at hand), as well as the political outcome of the case under study
· What is a literature review?
A literature review essentially frames the debate at hand and helps us understand who is shaping the debate, what our state of knowledge is about the topic, and what gaps in our knowledge are left to fill. In this section of your paper, you should be generating a "dialogue" among scholars in your chosen field (e.g., peacekeeping, development, financial crises, etc.).
Think about covering articles from 3-5 scholars, who effectively sum up the major issues at hand, develop a critical review of their work, and then explain how your research will further the dialogue.
