2. Select a recent (within three months and provide link to story source) local, national or international news story. Describe the story briefly.
Based on your understanding of the issues, which is the best sociological perspective among the three (just select one perspective) to be used to understand that story? How are you going to apply the assumptions of that theory to understand that news story? Why did you choose your perspective over the others?
