This video case addresses important contemporary aspects of a giant international retail corporation, Wal-Mart, and its strategies when doing business in China. Watch the video, learn a bit about modern Shanghai, and address the following topics with an APA research paper.
- What were some of the reasons behind Wal-mart's entry into the Chinese market?
- What advantages has Wal-Mart gained by forming joint partnerships with Chinese developers?
- Why do you think Wal-mart sees China as its best bet for repeating the success it has achieved in America?
