Assignment task: Pick and watch an episode of an adult animated sitcom (make sure it's an American show, and not a kid specific show: The Simpsons, Bob's Burgers, Futurama, Big Mouth, Bojack, South Park, for example, would all be fine), and then analyze it using a rhetorical, narrative, dramatist, Marxist, and feminist perspective. Like you did for the first project, format this by giving each perspective its own paragraph (or the equivalent if doing a podcast or video). In particular, focus in on elements of the show that reflect ideas about the American dream, gender, or other 'assumed' cultural beliefs: does this episode reinforce the norm, or challenge it? In addition to the analysis, do some research: who wrote the show? Who directed it? Who voiced it?
