Please review Kurosawa's Dreams, as well as Jim Jarmusch's Coffee and Cigarettes.
These films are both vignette-styled films; that is, films with short contained narrative fragments in which the entire film is centered around a theme. How does each film construct its theme? To what end? How are they different?
