Step 1: Comment on your own experiences working on a virtual team. Have you had successful and/or unsuccessful experiences? What makes working on a virtual team more or less effective?
Step 2: View the possible virtual team building games. Choose a game that you would like to use as a virtual team manager to engage your employees.
Step 3: Apply what you learned from the Virtual Teams presentation to answer the following:
What type(s) of technology would need to be used for the game you chose? (ex. Skype, email, telephone)
What benefits will this game have on your virtual team? Explain.
What will your team learn or gain from this experience? Explain.
What can you, as a virtual team manager, learn/gain from this game?
How do you think these types of games would make your team closer, more comfortable, and more involved?
