Retailing can be a tough business. Many stores posted slumps in recent holiday sales, some announced layoffs, and others filed for bankruptcy. Amazon, however, continues to report revenue growth and has expanded into new product areas such as digital music downloads.
Why do you think Amazon continues its web format and has never opened any brick-and-mortar stores?
