Resulting in a combined phenotype

Incompletely Dominant Alleles: An intermediate inheritance in which heterozygous alleles are both expressed, resulting in a combined phenotype.
Boxer dogs that are brown with black stripes are referred to as brindle. The brindle gene shows incomplete dominance. The number and darkness of the stripes in brindle boxers is highly variable. Some have so many stripes they look almost black. Some have a medium number of stripes. Others have just a few stripes.

You breed a brindle that has many stripes with another brindle that has only a few stripes. What is the phenotype of the litter of puppies (F1)?

A. 1:2:1 few stripes: medium stripes: many stripes

B. 1:1 few stripes: many stripes

C. 100% medium stripes

D. 100% many stripes
