Three considerations that would enable an organization to extend database functionality and reliability to enhance data performance are function, capacity and speed as well as reliability. All these considerations can support database without any interruptions or errors. Functions keep managing storage. Functions for the storage is most fundamental decision-making factor. It also helps lower costs over having large amount of storage locally on individual servers or desktops to centralize management of data and to increase the performance. Capacity and speed on the other hand is easy to determine based on the performance needs. Capacity is the easiest and most obvious function for a database. Reliability is a good source for IT professional that are looking to move into a shared storage. Reliability is free of any technical errors and supports software and hardware. These considerations may support any data performance without any problems with speed, capacity or software and hardware issues.
