Postoperative Diagnosis: Squamous cell carcinoma, upper right lobe Procedure: Flexible Bronchoscopy Procedure: The patient was prepped, draped and after adequate anesthesia, the scope was inserted through the right nares. The scope was advanced further. The vocal cords were normal. Carina was normal. The right main bronchus up into the upper middle and lower lobe bronchi were visualized. The right upper lobe showed an obstructive lesion. Other segments of the middle and lower lobe bronchi were normal. Biopsies and brushings were taken from the right upper lobe bronchus.
