In our discussions last class, a few people had surprising reactions to some of the ethical theories. As mentioned, there are times when considering ideas may make you uncomfortable.
Write a few paragraphs on one of the following:
- An ethical theory that made you uncomfortable. Why did it make you uncomfortable? Can you research the theory to find any modifications that make it less so?
- We dismissed some of the forms of ethical theories. Did dismissing one of these make you uncomfortable? If so, explain why. Can you research the theory to find any modifications that might make allow it to be used in a reasoned fashion? Or does your research help you change your mind?
