Delinquent Behavior
Research the story of Center Elementary School in Waycross, Georgia. A group of third graders in this school, plotted to kill their teacher in 2008. Much media attention was given to this story, due to the extreme young age of the offenders. Write a 2 page paper detailing the facts of this case, the follow-up by local authorities concerning the mental health of the children, and your own personal "take" as to why these kids planned such an act, and what a model juvenile justice system would do to punish, deter, educate and resolve such an incident.
