Research Paper
Topic: The Affordable Care Act: Its positive impact and shortfalls.
A term paper is required. Students should research a current topic of interest in the delivery of health services. The paper must lend itself to a thoughtful discussion of the impact of health disparities on the health systems discussed. This discussion / impact analysis will be worth 30% of the research paper grade. Students should include patients, families and health care workers in their impact analysis where appropriate.
The paper shall be between 9 and 10 typed pages, not including a minimum of six references, the title page and bibliographies. Students will proof the paper for spelling and grammar and follow APA guidelines. Students should be prepared to answer questions from the Instructor or the class online.
