Question 1. There are rules of evidence that everyone must follow. These rules help ensure that the judge gets reliable, relevant and accurate evidence to consider when making decisions about a case. Judges usually hold hearing if needed to admit or dismiss evidence. However, the Defendant can still request an appeal of the verdict/decision as we saw in the Mapp case.
