Assignment Directions: Choose 2-3 teaching principles that you think represent your core beliefs as a teacher. Be sure state them clearly in the introduction section of your paper. These will be larger, more philosophical beliefs that capture, for instance (THESE ARE SUGGESTIONS ONLY): (1) your role as a teacher; (2) the role student's play in the classroom; (3) an overarching belief about how teachers and students interact; (4) a guiding principle for choosing content and materials; (5) a unified belief on how you keep track of student progress. These sorts of ideas are sufficiently broad that you can expand upon them in depth.
