Problem: This is a report on the intervention due to a concerned citizen who noticed a disoriented mother carrying her two children C1(6) and C2(9) with some belongings at a public park in Tembisa. The mother was not emotionally stable; she was seen crying and was also seen talking to herself. The children's lives were at stake due to the mental instability displayed by the mother. M2 was born and raised in Haman Kraal. Her mother is referred to as G2 (Granny of 2), and G2 husband passed away in 2015. She has two siblings, M1 and M2. M2 was an excellent student and recognized as one of the top learners. However, she dropped out of school in grade 11 and decided to leave Haman kraal to live with her sister in Tembisa, with the intention of furthering her education.
